Acer Aspire 5534-1146 Battery Replacement

Introduction

Battery replacement is a simple replacement, it can be successfully done in 5 minutes. Before beginning the replacement, it is important to have unplugged the power cord.

What you need

    • Make sure your device is unplugged from the power source . Gently turn it over, and lay it on a flat on its face.

    • This latch locks your battery in place, it should always be locked with the exception of replacement. Slide it horizontally to the unlock position.

    • Do not break this latch, otherwise your battery will not hold in place.

    • Locate the latch that ejects the battery (top right corner) and push it to the left, so the battery can come out.

    • The battery will pull out once the latch is positioned to the left.

    • You DO NOT need to push on the ejecting latch when replacing the new battery, it will snap into place itself.

    • Push the battery forward and it will slide out, it should come out with ease. There should be a label with the part number.
