If your keyboard has issues and/or doesn't function properly, use this guide to replace it with a new one.

Remove the two 6.0 mm screws that secure the keyboard using a Phillips head screwdriver.

Turn the laptop over and open it. Use flat edged tools to gently separate the keyboard from the laptop. It should snap off with a small amount of force.

  • Be sure to push the small tabs along the top of the keyboard, while lifting to successfully free the keyboard.
