Replacing the cabin air filter in a 2021 Acura ILX is a simple way to improve your air quality. What you need

Open the glove box, located in front of the passenger seat on the right side of the vehicle.

Empty the glovebox.

Press inwards on both sides of the glove box near the back, pulling towards you, to remove glove box.

Behind the glove box there is a rectangular plastic cover. Squeeze the two tabs on the side and pull off the cover.

Insert the new air filter into the compartment. Make sure it is pushed all the way back.

While pushing the glove compartment forward to close it, squeeze inwards along the slits on both sides so it re-insert into the opening.
