2001-2005 Honda Civic Tail Light Replacement

What you need

  1. 2001-2005 Honda Civic Tail Light Replacement, Tail Light: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • To remove the risk of electrocution, turn off the vehicle before attempting replacement

    • Release the trunk latch.

    • The release can often be found on the floor, near the fuel access and hood release buttons.

    • Remove bulb from tail light assembly.

    • Remove the bulb from its' socket.

    • Be sure to only remove the bulb. Removing the socket as well will require another replacement in order to properly function.

I have an issue with the bulb being stuck in the socket. I can access the whole assembly fine, but for whatever reason the bulb won't come out.
