Introduction

This guide is to remove the headlamp. Left and right remove identical. This will have to be done to either change a light bulb or to remove the complete headlamp for exchange.

  • Here is the Jeep GC. Removal of the headlamp is identical for both sides.

Image 1/3: Grasp upper inboard and lower outboard corners of headlamp and forcefully pull headlamp outward. Image 2/3: Remove all bulb sockets from headlamp module. Separate headlamp from vehicle. Image 3/3: Remove all bulb sockets from headlamp module. Separate headlamp from vehicle.
  • Remove the long jack screw.

  • Grasp upper inboard and lower outboard corners of headlamp and forcefully pull headlamp outward.

  • Remove all bulb sockets from headlamp module. Separate headlamp from vehicle.
