1992-1996 Ford F series-Bronco Header Panel Replacement

What you need

  1. 1992-1996 Ford F series-Bronco Header Panel Replacement, Header Panel: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the 5 screws with the screwdriver to remove the grill.

    • Set aside the windshield fluid/coolant reservoir by removing the 11mm bolt.

    • Remove the two screws on top of the headlight bezel, and the two 11mm bolts on the back of the bezel.

    • Then, remove the bolts from the housing. Repeat this step for the other headlight.

    • Remove the bolts retaining the header panel using the 8mm socket and ratchet.

    • Remove the headlight bulbs from the headlight housing by turning them counterclockwise on the retaining clip.

  6. 1992-1996 Ford F series-Bronco Header Panel Replacement: step 6, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the old header panel, and install the replacement panel.

  7. 1992-1996 Ford F series-Bronco Header Panel Replacement: step 7, image 1 of 1
    • Replace all of the bolts that retain the header panel.

    • Reinstall the headlight bulbs by turning clockwise on the retaining clip.

  9. 1992-1996 Ford F series-Bronco Header Panel Replacement: step 9, image 1 of 1
    • Reinstall the headlight bezels after reinserting the marker lights with the two screws, and two 11mm bolts.

  10. 1992-1996 Ford F series-Bronco Header Panel Replacement: step 10, image 1 of 1
    • Reinstall the windshield fluid/coolant reservoir with the 11mm bolt.

  11. 1992-1996 Ford F series-Bronco Header Panel Replacement: step 11, image 1 of 1
    • Reinstall the grill with the 5 screws.

My header panel was broke. Into like 5 pieces. I had everything pulled off my front end before realizing that I had not mapped out my process. This really helped me put it all back together.

I would love a parts source guide for all of the clips, fasteners and screws for all of this as some of mine were beyond reuse.
