Introduction
If the taillight blinker on your 1987 Chevrolet S-10 has stopped working, follow this guide to safely remove and replace the blinker bulb.
The blinker bulb flashes when the turn signal or hazard lights are activated. A burned-out bulb will not illuminate when in use. To check whether the bulb has failed, park the truck and turn on the hazard lights. If the taillight does not blink while the hazards are active, the blinker bulb likely needs to be replaced.
Before you begin the repair, ensure you are parked in a safe area with little foot traffic. Also, ensure that your truck is turned off before starting maintenance.
