The Steam Deck is a handheld, portable gaming console made by Valve. It’s very reminiscent of the [[Topic:Nintendo Switch Lite|Nintendo Switch Lite]], [[Topic:Asus ROG Ally|Asus ROG Ally|new_window=true]], AYA Neo, or OneXPlayer, with its 7-inch display bookended by two non-removable controllers that feature thumbsticks and haptic trackpads on both sides, with a full suite of triggers, bumpers, back buttons, and menu buttons—plus the standard ABXY and D-pad.

+There are three models. The base model has 64GB of storage using an eMMC internal storage unit which using PCIe 2.0 x1. The mid tier model has 256GB of storage on an NVMe SSD using a PCIe 3.0 x2 or x4. The top tier model has a 512 GB NVMe SSD using PCIe 3.0 x2 or x4. According to Steam there is no discernable difference in performance  between PCIe 3.0 x2 and x4 in this application. Further differentiation between models includes a special carrying case and enhanced Steam profile bundles for the two upper tier models. Additionally, in the top tier 512GB unit a special anti-glare etched glass screen is included along with a virtual keyboard theme. All the models also share common specifications as noted in the Specifications section below.
