== Introduction ==
Some features of the DS include a built in microphone, it is a dual screen console whose bottom screen is a touchscreen, and it is only backwards compatible with Nintendo's GameBoy Advance game cartridges. As far as user input the Nintendo DS still has the button configuration used in previous generations, but it also now features added interactivity due to the use of a finger, stylus, or a curved plastic tab that can be used to interact with the game via the touchscreen. The Nintendo DS was later succeeded by the Nintendo DS Lite in 2006 and later by the Nintendo DSi in 2009.

'''From Miro:''' The ``[raw][guidelist|Nintendo DS][/raw]`` code you put above my note is correct. However, the guides are currently hidden, and will not appear on the device page until approved by iFixit. The bulleted code below you've written is incorrect, and not necessary.[guidelist|Nintendo DS]
