The New Nintendo 2DS XL came out July 28th, 2017 as a hybrid between Nintendo’s 2DS and 3DS XL. It is compatible with Nintendo 3DS software. In North America, it comes in a black and turquoise color scheme while being white with orange-gold highlights in Japan. Here are some it’s specifications:

The case resembles the clamshell form of the 3DS XL The top screen has 400x240 pixel resolution and is a widescreen LCD display. Measuring across the diagonal, the top screen is 4.88in and the touch screen is 4.18in.
 
There are 3 cameras on this device. The front camera is located in the middle of the hinge while the two outer dual cameras are on the bottom right below the hinge.
 
The speakers are stereo and are located on the base of the unit, with the right one being next to the indicator LEDs for power and wifi.
 
The game card slot and the microSDHC card are both under a cover located on the base of the product.
 
The Nintendo 2DS XL comes with a stylus that pops out to the right of the audio jack at the front of the base of the device.
 
Folded up, the device is 3.4in x 6.3in x .8in. Open, it is 6.4in x 6.3in x .8in. It weighs 9.2oz.
