Cabin air filter
These are some common tools used to work on this device. You might not need every tool for every procedure.
Introduced in 2003, the TSX (for Touring Sportscar eXperimental) was an imported Honda Accord (model CL9) touring sedan offered in North America with slight cosmetic and functional changes. The first generation was powered by a 2.4 liter K24A engine and either six-speed manual or five-speed "manumatic" automatic transmissions. In 2005 an XM satellite radio receiver was added. In 2006 a multi-information display (MID), Bluetooth HandsFreeLink systems were added, as well as exterior styling changes, foglights, power memory seats, and auxiliary MP3 player input. In 2007, a tire pressure monitoring system was added. An optional touchscreen navigation system was available for all model years at additional cost.
The 2nd generation TSX (model CU2) ran from 2009 - 2014.
Similarities to Honda Accord (US) ¶
Many parts are shared with the US Accord, so guides and techniques for that model may be applicable. E.g. the air cleaner filter replacement on the Accord applies to this vehicle.
A 1st gen TSX can be identified by the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Reading the 4th through 6th digits are the model number (e.g. CL9 for 2004-2008, CU2 for 2009-2014). The 10th digit is the model year. The 11th digit indicates the assembly plant (typically Sayama, Japan). The 12th through 17th digits are the sequential production number of the individual vehicle.
