Well I deleted itunes...

And i installed a older version of itunes to help me fix the problem with my iPod. (Which means there are other posts...) But now itunes wont open, and i get this message: The file "iTunes library.itl" cannot be read because it wad created by a newer version of iTunes. How can i now fix this?

U should download the latest version of itunes, an older version can cause issues like the one ur faced with now. Simple go to software update on ur Mac and download the latest version of itunes.

Yes well i use Windows, but i think that the new version of iTunes might have something to do why the iPod wont restore. This is what i was trying to find out. Anyway to make that file work with the older version?

I'm sorry but I've never deal with that issue with Windows, so I wont be able to assist you on how to make those files work in a older version of iTunes.
