Does the 2015 display assembly fit the 2014 MacBook Pro?

I'm wondering if the 2015 display assembly fits and works on the 2014 MacBook Pro. Because bloody ifixit store just gave out the last 2014 display stock to someone else while I'm in the middle of checkout process.

No, late 2013-2014 screens are compatible, 2015 screens only work with 2015 models.

How Can I Find out that I bought 2015 LCD not 2014 ? Because I Bought one on ebay and they said that is good for 2014 but it won't work. I thing that is is for 2015. I am saying about a1398 15"
