Replaced lcd digitizer, now screen flashes and wont stay on.

I replaced a cracked lcd digitizer. Now when I hit the home or power button, the screen lights up and I can see everything for a split second, then everything goes black again. It's still on and for that split second everything looks as it should. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the flex cables and the battery flex cable, same thing. Everything is snug and seems as it should be. I'm hoping I didn't damage any of the gold connectors. Any ideas?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

if you didnt unplug ipad battery before repair you may have also damaged the backlight component. if new screen doesnt fix the problem you will need to find someone who repairs the boards.

Hi

Try to check the LCD connector with a magnifier. (with a microscope would be better indeed).

Also try to make a magnified photo if possible.
