I have an iMac G5 17" Model A1208. Shut down computer to clean area. When I was done I plugged it back in and went to turn it back on and there was nothing. No sounds fans nothing. When I shut it down it was working fine. Not sure what it is that needs to be fixed.

Double check the outlet and cord... sometimes things look connected but they are just hanging there. If that all checks out the next step is to See this article about troubleshooting no power up problems.
