Can A Loose DC Inboard Be Fixed?

Everything on the DC Inboard I have works, just the part that the AC adapter plugs into is loose. Can it just be super glued down onto the board or something?

Thank you!

Yes, the DC in board is a pain to get to, but superglue should do the trick if properly applied, just be careful. Here's a guide to get to the board:

PowerBook G4 Aluminum 15" 1-1.5 GHz DC & Sound Card Replacement

you will have to remove the logic board to do this, but if you want to try, go for it!

I do want to try so keep your fingers crossed. BTW just how do you "properly apply" it?

just make sure you don't block any connections, and use it sparingly.

Chris thanks for your answer! I'm sorry for the "unaccept answer" I thought it said accept answer which you did!!

This being new stinks! I've found, now that I've removed everything, that the rubber circle the metal deal the adapter fits into on the inside of the PB, is broken at the top making it wriggle. So I'm going to try to reinforce that too and I think that will help stabalize it too.

Thanks again! Noel
