HI,

Ive got a MBP 13" Mid 09 and I recently upgraded to a SSD. I bought this one and it works like a charm. I didn't have any trouble installing OS X.

Would this be fast enough?

It makes a big difference. I dont know how to read I/O`s but loading large excel files ( 10Mb ) that used to take a while show up in seconds. I also noticed that when loading SC2 it is way faster both opening the game and loading maps.

BTW, sorry for the delay, I just saw your comment.

Any SSD is faster at reading than an analogue drive... not so fast at writing.

I think you are trying to run a SATA 6.0Gb/s when the connector is Serial ATA (3 Gb/s), of course you remembered to use tools->disk utility to format it first.

What about this one? Would this work on my computer?

That is a SATA 10 1.5Gbit/s - too slow you want a SATA 2.0 3 Gbit/s.
