Will not power up even after a SMC reset?

I have tried the restarting trick hold down for 10 secs etc and my Mag light is turning green, I also have a new battery. There are no fans kicking on nothing the Macbook is completely dead....any ideas?

If the new battery isn't charged that may be part of the problem... Let it charge up at least 50%. SMC reset is these steps Not just holding down the power button.

Try removing all power overnight, then reassembling and starting.

Machead I have the battery charged at 100% and still no power. When i take the battery out and try to turn the Mac on I still dont have any power. The Mag light is still clue whats going on....anything i can try is greatly appreciated!

You're certain that the top case ribbon cable is properly connected to the logic board. There are logic board jumpers you could try, by passing the top case/ribbon cable.
