Mackbook is not turning on?

I press the on button, the beginning start up noise sounds, but there is no screen and no further noises.

I had to replace the graphics card before. Could it be that again?

Options

Yes it could - connect to an external monitor, if no video, then the graphics card could be the issue. If there is video run your hardware test disk.
