I can't turn up or down the volume

I changed the battery the other day because there was water damage in my iPhone. The repair went well, but when I turned on my iPhone, I couldn't hear any volume. When I go to the settings, then sounds, and I turn up and down the ringer and the alerts I can hear. I suppose there is a problem with the speakers, because I restore it and it still doesn't work. So what do I need to do???? I would like to load a picture, but it's not allow!!!

Thanks

You most possibly need a new charge port.. It probably got water on it, causing it to be damaged and now it is not letting the music actually get to the loud speaker
