Mid 2013 revision to the Xbox 360 line of game consoles, featuring 4 USB ports and built-in Wi-Fi connectivity.

Why is my console not staying on?

My Xbox 360 E powers on successfully on first run, and when I turn it off and leave the power brick in it, the Xbox won't stay on anymore, when I have the power brick unplugged for 15mins, then plug it back in, it wants to stay on for longer(20min) but after that, just dies and won't stay on for even a minute. The power supply is good and I figured maybe the Rf board was the issue and put a good known one in and still got the same problem. I checked the 5, 3.3, 1.2 test on the U5A1, 2 and so forth but they all read normally. Sorry I am not a professional but trying to learn and I am kind of stumped, and quite frankly don't know much of what I'm doing.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hello, @jessecruz53063

I'm not a professional, too! But I will still try.

Try following this guide to get access to your overall internals+motherboard. Try checking all points on the motherboard that correspond to power. If all are good, I would check your outlet to see if any funky business is happening there. If all the things that I have suggested to you don't work out, then we both may be stumped until we get further information after doing all the things that I suggested to you (my writing is confusing, I know, I try my best) have been done.

Regards,

T

To add: did you measured your PSU? Because it sound like PSU issues. Also make sure it’s dust free from the inside! Thanks!
