Broken LCD cable on 2011 iMac

I just bought an ssd drive for my iMac, installed it, then put the iMac back together. I turned the iMac on and saw no picture on screen at all. I opened up the iMac again and saw the LCD cable was unplugged. I tried to connect it again but I must have damaged it whilst putting it back as it now looks a bit bent in the middle. I have tried for hours to get it to work again, but to no avail. My question is, do all iMac LCD cables work with the 2011 version? I have done a search for model on the lead, which is 593-1050 and cannot find much info about it, so I am just hoping that other model cables can be used. Otherwise, I am at a loss :p

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hey there Matthew. Unfortunately, the LCD cables are not consistent across iMac models. Also, the LCD cable is part of the LCD itself, so you would not be able to replace the cable independently.

When you first turned the iMac on, was the display completely blank? Or was it just white? Sometimes it takes a while for the iMac to boot up after disassembly and during that time, the screen will just remain white.
