Where can I find a replacement power cord?
There doesn't seem to be any replacement parts listed on ifixit yet for the new steam machine. Is the power cord a standard shape I can find somewhere else?
Is this a good question?

I had a look at some of the guide photos, and as far as I can tell it's a pretty standard power cord type. Typically I would call it a "non polarized" power cord. There's probably some fancy name for it, but that's how I've always seen them sold. They're pretty typical for electronic devices.

Thanks! I found a matching cord at a store labelled "Laptop power cord" or "Notebook power cord".
Hello, @alexbrown82019
As @flannelist already said, the teardown shows that the Steam Machine is powered by a standard two-prong plug. So I would say that it would be extremely easy to find the correct cord of the correct specs.

There are many 'standardized' power cords, especially 3-pronged male/female cords. Most between three to five foot lengths. Try online or narrow searches to electronics distributors like Micro Center, digikey, Mouser, etc.. If you have the power cord, take it with you to compare ends to match. The female end must be dimensionally correct if your cord is removable.
After some research, there are 2-prong plugs that are part of standardized cords.....
