I get one beep but my ps5 won't turn on

My ps5 was most likely damaged by lightning. I am 90% positive that it isn't a problem with the power supply. Do you know any other ways this can be fixed? Extra info: It is an edm-020 digital edition console

Hi!

I would meassure the power supply to be 100% sure!

It should give 12volts also in standby mode.

If this it not the case, then I’m afraid you need to replace it…

Hi!

In this case, the PSU should be fine. I’m afraid it’s related to the motherboard. Please check for shorts and also checked the southbridge (most likely this one is done and need to be replaced). Also check the caps.
