Display is incomplete and does not move on to icons

When the Ipad boots-up the the display shows only the last half of the letter "d" in the word "Ipad." The rest of the screen to the left side is a gray streak the same height as the letter. There is also a streak on the bottom of the same section of the screen.

I have replaced the front panel assembly and tried the hard re-boot without any change

The front panel does not display any other information and does not respond to any operator commands.

I reported this problem the other day, but made a mistake about the model number. I have read other questions since and corrected my discription.
