2012 Harley runs bad, pops and backfires

I have a 2012 Harley Switchback with the 103ci engine and and I've had it for 3 years with no problems and it's run perfectly. it had 12,000 miles on it when I bought it and it currently has almost 32,000 miles on it. but it recently, just out of the blue started backfiring a little and popping through the throttle body and is down on power and doesn't want to run right. I'm suspecting a timing issue but I'm hoping not and I'm hoping somebody here can give me a good direction to go. I have spray the intake with carb cleaner to check for leaks and found none I also replaced the crank position sensor and it had no effect. also I have installed one O2 sensor because it didn't have anyone I bought it but I absolutely cannot find the plug-in for the O2 sensor in the front exhaust pipe, does anyone happen to know where that would be located? any information I can get would be absolutely wonderful and very much appreciated.

This could be a cylinder misfire. Did you already check the spark plugs?

actually no I didn't, I never even thought of that and I should have but I will go check it right now. thank you.

@joshualovell There is no need to rush! Take your time! If your spark plugs has heavy carbon buildup on it (black soot), then you should probably replace the spark plugs from your local auto parts store, if they have the correct spark plugs in stock.

thank you theo, that's good advice. but the spark plugs were clean and gapped correctly. also tested the coil and it's putting out plenty of voltage. And good job for learning to fix things, that's a skill that will payoff so many times throughout life, I hope you never lose the fire for fixing things, I'm 51yo and I still love to learn. so keep it up and good job to your grandma as well for helping you along

@joshualovell Your welcome, and thanks for that encouragement! I mostly learn from other answers (or from projects that I get put onto the table from my local E-waste store) or certain YouTubers that actually put in the physical effort for their projects, so most of my answers will be out of speculation. Also, that O2 sensor could be the root of your problem, and they would be both behind and in front of the catalytic converter, or it would be in the intake manifold.
