S1008D Solar Charger not charging - no lights or signs of life after visual inspection
My S1008D Solar Charger (20000mAh) has stopped charging and shows no signs of life. I have tried different cables and power sources, but no lights turn on. I have disassembled the device and performed a visual inspection:
- There are no loose wires or disconnected solder joints.
- The battery does not appear swollen or damaged.
- There are no visible burnt components on the circuit board.
- The charging port feels secure and not loose.
What should be my next troubleshooting steps? Could this be a deep discharge issue where the protection circuit has tripped, or is it more likely a failed charging IC? I have access to basic repair tools and a soldering iron.
