When I connect (USB-C) the iPhone 16 Pro to the M4 MacBook, the Mac displays a notification asking to restore the iPhone due to a corrupted file and prevents me from opening the iPhone's files on the MacBook.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Did you manage to resolve it without having to perform a restore?

Are you using the original Apple USB-C cable? Try another port, another USB-C data cable, and another computer if you have one or can borrow one. I have issues with my laptop restoring and recognizing iOS devices. I always have to restore devices with my desktop.

Yes, I am using the original Apple USB-C cable, and I have already tried other cables and the other ports on the Mac, but it still asks to restore the iPhone.
Then the Mac has detected an issue with the iPhone's firmware. Before restoring:
Choose Update if that option is available. This attempts to reinstall iOS without erasing data.
Only choose Restore if the update fails or Apple Support specifically recommends it.
It might be best to make sure your phone is completely backed up and then restore to factory. I know you're trying to avoid this, but it sounds like you've tried all the usual troubleshooting steps with no luck.
