upgrading cpu, which s-spec?

I'm going to upgrade the cpu in my mid 2007 7, 1 20" imac from a T7700 to a core 2 extreme X7900, but I'm unsure as to what s-spec version to get, whether one would be incompatible or not. There is SLAQj and SLAZ3. Do I have to get the same one that was in the BTO imacs, and if so, where can I find out which s-spec was used in those macs, I can't seem to find out?

And are there other processors that are compatible with my imac?
