Panic log help: 16+ battery stuck at 1%, stops charging when booted

Hello, I was hoping someone could help me decipher the panic log on an iPhone 16 Plus. The phone charges normally when first plugged in, but stops charging as soon as it's fully booted (the charging icon still shows up, but no power is going to phone) and the battery indicator always shows "1%". It then crashes after ~3min.

I've already replaced both the battery and the charging port (with aftermarket parts from IG), but neither has impacted the behavior of the device.

I believe the relevant part of the panic log is here:

As far as I understand, the "SMC BSC failure" indicates a sensor not communicating with the SMC, and the "TB0T" lead me to suspect the battery. However, the behavior is identical with the original battery and the replacement battery. There's no obvious liquid or physical damage to the device.

Anyone know what sensor is being indicated, or what the issue is if I'm totally misreading it? I can post more of the log if helpful. Thanks so much,

A battery stuck at 1% that stops charging once iOS boots is usually a sign of a battery communication or charging-related hardware issue, not just a bad battery percentage reading.

The panic log is the most important clue here. I'd run it through an iPhone panic log analysis to identify exactly which component or sensor is failing. I'd also run a battery metrics analysis to verify whether the battery is reporting normal health and charging data.

Those two together will usually narrow it down much faster than replacing parts blindly.
