My phone is not turning on even if I charge it

Try these steps in order — most "won't turn on" cases are fixable without opening the phone:
1. Force a hard reset
Press and hold Power + Volume Down for 15–20 seconds, even if the screen looks completely dead. This forces a reboot on most Infinix/Android devices and fixes a surprising number of "frozen" phones.
2. Rule out a charging problem, not a power-on problem
3. Check the charging port
Look inside the USB-C port with a flashlight for lint, dust, or a bent center pin. Gently clean it with a wooden toothpick or a can of compressed air — never a metal object.
4. Try a different power source
Plug into a laptop USB port or a different wall charger. If the phone shows a charging animation there but not with your usual charger, your original charger/cable is the culprit.
5. Look for the "dead battery" charging icon
Some Infinix models show nothing for the first few minutes when the battery is fully drained. Leave it on the charger, screen off, for a full 30 minutes untouched, then try powering on.
If none of that works:
This usually points to either a battery that has failed completely (won't hold or accept charge) or a charging port/board issue that needs a diagnostic. At that point it's worth:
Let us know what happens with the hard reset and the different charger — that'll narrow down whether it's a battery, a port, or something else.

@whitescreen IFixit doesn't have a useful guide to replace this phone, yet. And please make sure to check the AI's answer before posting it here. Sure, it could actually be helpful, but you always have to double check the prompt in order to actually make it helpful. An AI prompt for this always has to have a real human check to see if it is correct.
Hello,
You would need to replace your battery if this is happening. Go online, search up the correct battery for your use, and follow a useful guide created by an actual human, not AI, to replace your battery.
Good luck,
T
