I recently installed new housing on my 4S and now I have to press the home button pretty hard for it to make contact. The home button was a yellow after market one. What could I have done wrong when installing to cause this?

was there a little metal square on the back of ur home button with ur new conversion kit?if not take the little metal spacer off the back of ur other home button that should work.
yes it comes off easily its just stuck on with a bit of adhesive should be no problem to remove
