Shoulder Trigger Button (L1) ripped off. Middle and right pads damaged

The L1 shoulder trigger button got ripped off and the middle pad go ripped off and the right one got damaged and my professor has tried to help me out as well. the button works but it works in reverse. when its pressed it turns off and when its not pressed its on. I'm not sure if someone sold me the wrong type of button but it did say that it was meant fir steam deck. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
