How can I repair my Dualshock 3?

Good day sir/mam

well, few days before it got stuck on red light it was not blinking or not turning off I saw some online videos and resetted(via reset switch) it after then it rarely turns on and doesn't connect with my PlayStation 3 I even use scp toolkits to check whether it connects via usb or not well it didn't connect even i tried new usb cable It didnt work

So i require some helps for this

Hi!

Could be many things..

1: First I would replace the battery, just to check if it will at least turn on.

2: The USB port is broken and thus it does not want to connect, replacing this is recommend to test, but requires soldering.

3: motherboard issues. In this case, it will be difficult to repair and to check what is causing it.

well i will try replacing the battery in the controller the battery is kind of bulged (srry bcs I didn't noticed it first) well i also placed a replacement and it will arrive in a day or two well also thanks for recommending the solutions. I will surely update it once the battery is replaced

sorry I know that it's been a week (srry for the delayed comment) and i switched the battery well actually it was working longer that before but as usual it did'nt charge or connects to the computer so i went to shop n change the port too now it is perfectly fine thank you for suggesting the repairs <D
