No sound internal speakers, headphones and no light on magsafe tip...

Hi, my friend spilled liquid on his macbook air, and i cleaned it all out with 91% iso al. once put together everything works except that there is no sound from internal speakers, or headphones and there is no light on tip of magsafe charger.

under audio on hardware tab it says

Intel High Definition Audio:

Audio ID: 91

there was corrosion on logic board and i/o board. but do you think a new i/o board and cable would fix the sound issue and charger? would a faulty i/o board disable all sound from mac or would still one speaker work because the left speaker is connected directly to the logic board?

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated in helping me debunk this for my friend !

thanks in advance! ill leave it to the PROs. :)

Yes a defunct audio board kills all sound. Sounds like you need a new Audio Board, and DC-in Board.

by new audio board and dc-in board. are you referring to the i/o board which is both? or is the audio board a component on the logic board?
