While replacing my broken screen, I probably ripped something!

While replacing my broken screen, I probably ripped something!

My screen broke, in many pieces, while I was removing to replace I think I broke something else! that flex thing was so glued to the glass that I teared a piece... my question is, can this possibly be related to the POWER/SLEEP, VOLUME and LOCK buttons? They are not working anymore, and even though all the circuit that connects those buttons seem to be fine, since they're not working I can only assume this is relatable.

Here's the picture, any input would be muuuuch appreciated!

The antenna on top is signal antenna it might still work but you will have very weak signal.

Power, volume and silent button is not related to that antenna.

I can see from the picture that you have torn that flex too.

See the pic below I put an arrow where the flex was torn.

Thank you for your reply!

So, do you think that if I purchase this: http://www.amazon.com/OEM-iPad-power-rib... and replace it, I'll be able to get those buttons back to work again?

Since you mention the antena... yep, I did tear up that too, but I thought that the wifi antena was down bellow, near the home button. I was prepared to buy this one: http://www.amazon.com/Replacement-Flex-C... and replace it as well!

Thanks a bunch!!

The wifi Antenna is on the bottom yes. The antenna on the top is 3G antenna.

The first link is good but the second one is wifi antenna you do not need that.

You need this part to fix your issue.
