Cam shaft sensor and engine light is on

I have a camshaft sensor from the diagnostic s scanner and my engine light is on no overheating no oil and coolant mixture just that also it has no power i know, where can I trace the camshaft sensor

@successmochela not sure what you mean by tracing the camshaft sensor. If our scanner did tell you there are issues with it you should actually replace it. What code did your scanner give you? What exactly are you concerned about with this?

The scanner shows me the code and the description. Says camshaft position sensor

So I am trying to locate it where is this sense to see if I can clean it or replace it but I dont know where it is, most videos they show unplugging it but never say where exactly it is located or how to find this sensor

The car is a chev cruze 2103 ls 1.6

@successmochela BTW your Cruz has two. It has one intake and one exhaust camshaft position sensor ;-) Page 2704 shows you the location Page 5369 shows you the replacement

@successmochela not sure what you mean by tracing the camshaft sensor. If your scanner did tell you there are issues with it you should actually replace it. It might help if you let us know what code did your scanner give you. See if this Chevrolet Cruze Wiring Diagram will help you with "tracing" it. Now, the Chevrolet Cruze Repair Manual will help you to interpret any code you may have gotten from your scanner and will help you to locate the sensors etc. Let us know what you find out.
