My car turns on and on a cold start it dose move on driver and reverse, but after a minute it just stops it won’t move but you can hear the engine working fine. it’s as if the transmission is at fault but I want to make sure before anything. I lifted it on all four and all tires spin but only for so long after a minute or two it just stops and won’t budge.

@jonathanarriaga it most certainly sounds like a transmission issue. At minimum you will need to get your Equinox scanned to see what error code it gives you. The way you describe the issues with your vehicle, this does sound more like the electronics vs the mechanical parts of your transmission. It is absolutely possible that this is caused by a problem with the Transmission Control Module (TCM). Again, you will need to get it scanned. Let us know what you find out.
