What do I do if my screen turns on but isn’t responding to touch?

I dropped the phone while I was at work and the screen still turns on but doesn’t respond when I try unlocking it or opening anything. I did try turning it on and off and I did try lightly pressing along the edges of the phone to reattach anything that may have become knocked loose internally but still nothing. What should I try to fix it?

It sounds like a broken digitizer (if you don't know what that is, it's basically just another way of saying touch screen). You're going to have to take it apart and replace it. It looks like the screen and digitizer are fused on this phone, so you'll have to replace the entire screen. iFixit has a guide for this, so I'll link it here. If you don't want to replace the entire thing, you'll still have to take it apart, but instead of actually replacing it, you could just make sure there aren't any connectors that popped loose, so maybe try that before you replace the entire screen. But anyway, here's the guide: Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G Screen Replacement
