Does the Toshiba 320GB (MK3233GSG) HD work in Video iPod (5G)?

Does anyone know if the 320GB 1.8" HD works in the Video iPod? I know the 240GB one does, but haven't heard anything about this beast!

Does anyone have any experience/information?

I am experimenting with making a 320 Ipod classic. I think I found a cable that will be compatible. Just trying to find a good price on the drive itself.

jlbrown, looks like this drive has a SATA or Serial ATA (Advanced Technology Attachment) as the drive interface, and the iPod requires a more traditional Parallel ATA (PATA) interface. So looks like it's a no go :-). Hope this helps, good luck.

Yes, I had forgotten about the PATA requirement. Looks like we'll be stuck at 240GB for a long time.

Thanks for your help,
