My iPod tells me www.apple.com/support/iPod but I can't understand DX

I definitely let the battery drain. it was shut down and when I connect it to charge the battery in the laptop, was kindled and introduced the apple logo for several minutes and then showed a message saying: please wait very low battery. after waiting, it displays another message that said: www.apple.com / support / ipod

with a sign indicating that according to this sad ipod apple store.

I have found solutions but I have fear of doing something without knowing anything.

could be:

1. the hardware

2. the processor

??

Thanks :/

miimii, it is possible that you may just nerd a new battery, this is where I would start. Follow this guide to work on the battery. Be careful with the connector, it has a tendency of breaking of the logic board. Use a L_Shaped paperclip to pull straight up on th lock. Once you change the battery, re-evaluate your iPod and see what you got. With a new battery you may be able to place the iPod into diagnostic mode and see what it says about your hard drive. The 5th gen is relatively easy to work on. Just take a look at the guides and familiarize yourself with those. Let us know how it is going. Hope this helps, good luck.
