Why is my clinitek urine analyzer not turning on?

My device was working yesterday, but a blackout occurred after and now it is not turning on even when plugged and used different power outlets to turn it on.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi @shashwatikale

Blackouts or power surges usually cause some damage to the power supply in a device.

Disconnect the power cord from the analyzer and insert 6 x AA size batteries into the analyzer's battery compartment and check if it now works OK. Go to p.14 (of 144 pdf) Installing batteries section of the user manual to see where to install the batteries

If it works OK when on battery power, then the power supply section in the analyzer has been damaged by the blackout and will need to be replaced. According to the service manual, (see Sect. 6-3 Power Distribution on p.18 of 254 pdf) there's a fuse in the power supply module of the analyzer but it is considered non serviceable, but maybe that's because they don't want the user to do it ;-)

If it doesn't work on battery power either, then the power module and the rest of the analyzer will have to be checked to find out what the problem is
