does 1987 honda prelude have automatic transmission cooler?

DOES THE 1987 HONDA PRELUDE 2.0, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, HAVE A BUILT IN TRANSMISSION COOLER?bold text''

I have a 1987 Honda Prelude, 2.0, automatic transmission and am trying to determine if the automatic transmission has a built-in transmission cooler in the radiator OR a separate automatic transmission cooler?

I cannot identify any automatic transmission cooler lines going to the radiator. Therefore, I question if there is a separate transmission cooler installed?

I would like to install a Hyden automatic transmission cooler in "series" if this automobile does in fact have some type of automatic transmission cooler.

Does anyone know if the 1987 Honda Prelude, 2.0., is equipped with an automatic transmission cooler? If so, what type?

Thank you.

The original radiator should have 2 small lines going into the bottom tank. Those are the auto trans cooler lines. Here is a picture of one: http://cdn0.autopartsnetwork.com/images/...

Heat is the #1 killer of ATF so adding an aftermarket cooler is always a good idea. Follow the instructions that come with the new cooler and it will be a simple installation.
