@isaacmakur You will need an OBD-II scanner, AKA code reader. You can find them quite inexpensively on places like AliExpress, Amazon or eBay.

The most inexpensive ones consist of a dongle that plugs into the OBD-II port on your car and connects to an app on your phone via bluetooth; these can easily be found for under $5 USD. There are quite a few free apps available that will connect to your dongle and can read and clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes. I personally use one called Torque but there are a lot of them out there.

The other choice is a self-contained device that has a cord that plugs into the port and can read the codes directly; these can range from under $10 USD on up to thousands of dollars for professional versions.

Here in the US, most auto parts stores will plug their scanner into your car for free and give you a list of the codes that are present in hopes they can sell you parts.

Either way, once you have the code or codes, come on back and let us know what you found and we can probably point you in the right direction regarding how to fix the problem.
