Fixing the horn without changing the air bag

BEFORE YOU CUT INTO THE HORN: Check to see if the horn or fuse is bad - it might just be a bad horn or fuse!

There really isn't a way to do it easily :-(. If you can find the horn wiring and drill into the dash or one of the "poverty buttons" if the car has one, and cut/splice the wires to a high quality mechanical switch that will work, but you will need to find the horn wiring or cut into the firewall to do it. One of the wires has to be on the chassis ground, so you can't wire both the switch. Find a discreet panel, sand it down and tap it with a self tapper screw to create a "ground" to chassis.

Without the model year I can't find your SM but 2015 and under is thoroughly leaked and Hyundai can't do squat about the leaks as they're all outside of DMCA jurisdiction -- even in the US where it applies there's so many SM leaks for these cars you take one down there's 10 more and anyone who saved the SM will just upload it to something like Mega.co.nz where you have to deal with the US jurisdictions trying to force Kim Dotcom to follow a law which DOES NOT APPLY outside of the US. The manuals are like cockaroaches: The quality leaks procreated themselves into being DMCA proof.
