Dryer randomly won’t turn on

Hey there! My dryer had been working fine for years, and suddenly when I plugged it in, it wouldn’t turn on. I’ve reset both the outlet and the dryer itself, but still nothing will turn on. I’ve seen some posts suggesting it might be a fuse, but they never elaborated where to buy a replacement or how to install it. I have a specialty screwdriver set to take it apart, but I wanted to know a little bit more about how and what to troubleshoot and where to find replacement parts (that isn’t Amazon), before I got started. Thanks in advance!

Options

On the big black brick thing that plugs into your wall, there are 2 buttons, test and reset. If you click the reset button, it should be working again.

I’m so sorry I didn’t elaborate. I reset both the outlet and the dryer at the plug multiple times. I’ve also checked to make sure the outlet isn’t the problem. Appreciate the quick reply, though!

Try wiggling the cord in multiple directions. Sometimes the wires inside the cord snap and only work in a position where they are pressed against each other, completing the circuit.

Seems like no luck with that, either. I’ve kept the cord in decent condition without kinks, twists, or bends.
