Cannot book to recovery screen pls help

Had an online meeting yesterday then poof my PC froze not sure if hacked or just low memory. I have only 3gb HDD. Now checking and forcing to boot my laptop on recovery mode but it doesn't show up. Pls help! What to do??? I cannot even reset the PC it only says " your computer needs repair" is this malware???
