If your Huawei P20 has no sound or vibration after a battery replacement, the issue is likely hardware-related. During battery replacement, internal connectors—especially for the loudspeaker, vibration motor, or bottom flex cable—may have been disconnected or damaged. First, restart the phone and check sound settings to rule out software issues. If there’s still no sound or vibration (even in safe mode), reopen the device and ensure all connectors are properly seated. Inspect the speaker and vibration motor contacts for damage. If unsure, take it to a qualified technician, as improper reconnection is the most common cause.

In some instances, no sound or vibration may occur after replacing a battery because of loose internal connectors, damaged flex cables, improper battery installation, or software glitches. Hardware connections should be rechecked to resolve the issue.
