Casio WK3700 DSP not working

I have an old Casio WK3700 electronic piano/keyboard.

When powered on in Grand Piano mode 000 it works fine. If I try any other mode the DSP button lights up and it emits a distorted thrumming sound and eventually powers off.

I assume the DSP circuitry is stuffed. Video

Hi @wayne51244

If you haven't already done so try to reset the keyboard back to default and check if that fixes it.

  • Remove the batteries from the keyboard (if inserted) and disconnect the AC adapter from the keyboard
  • Press and hold the Power button operated for about 20 seconds and then release it.
  • Reinsert the batteries (or reconnect the AC adapter), and turn on the keyboard
  • Use the Transpose/Function button to perform a system reset.
