LCD backlight not working properly.

I replaced my LCD, since my phone took water damaged. I can still recieve calls, i can unlock my phone, turn it off, i have sound. Ive watched the youtube vid many times and pretty positive all the connectors are in place. Just the backlight is not working at all. Any suggestions would help.

How should restoring help ?

the phone has a water damage, that's a serious issue - it have to be cleaned by a pro (or by one self with a good giude)

many different problems could be responsible for the backlight failure

if you don't let the phone get fixed - it will die - the water damage is like cancer - it spreads - sometimes slow, sometimes extremely fast
